Importing Final and Mid-Term Canvas Grades to SAP

Preparing Canvas Total Column

The first thing you will need to do is enable a grading scheme for your course. This will add a letter grade to your Total column in Grades.  You must see a letter grade in your total column to be able to import grades from Canvas. Note: The grade that is reported to SAP is the same grade that is visible to students. If you are not posting grades automatically, please make sure all grades have been posted Links to an external site. to students. As the total column is calculated as a running total, you can use the Set Default Grade Links to an external site. option to award 0s to any students who have not yet been graded on an assignment.

 

Submitting Grades in myUK

Once you have confirmed that the appropriate letter grades appear in Canvas, login to myUK Links to an external site. and access Grading in the Faculty Services menu. Simply select the course you wish to submit grades for and click the Retrieve Grades from Canvas button.

Verify that the correct grades appear for each student and submit them to the Registrar by clicking the Submit Grades to Registrar button.
