SLAM (Self-Service LTI App Management)

What is SLAM?

SLAM is the Self-Service LTI App Management app. It allows instructors to quickly and easily add and remove other LTI apps to their course.

Guide

To use SLAM:

  1. Enable the SLAM course navigation menu link in your course. For detailed instructions view the Guide: How do I manage Course Navigation links? Links to an external site.
  2. Click on SLAM in your course navigation. If this is your first time accessing SLAM, then you will need to authorize access by simply clicking on the Authorize button.
  3. Find the LTI App you would like to add in the list and click the toggle to turn it ontoggle (on).
  4. To remove an app that is no longer needed, click the toggle off toggle (off).

 

If you need to manage tools in additional courses, enter another course and repeat steps 1-4.

The LTI apps available in SLAM are not endorsed or supported by UK Online, the University of Kentucky, or Instructure Canvas. For assistance with third-party LTI apps, please contact the app provider. As a courtesy, links to current support information from the tool provider are available by clicking the Support Information link below the name of each LTI app.
