Welcome to Chemistry II! This course is second in a series that we have designed to cover subjects in advanced high school chemistry, correlating to the standard topics as established by the American Chemical Society. We hope the lecture materials, activities, and assessments are useful for exam preparation and remain interesting for curious learners.  Within this course we will cover the following topics: stoichiometry, covalent bonding, and thermochemistry. For each module, as well as for the Final Assessment, completed at a score of 70% or above, you will earn a badge. Upon completion of the course, you can request a course completion certificate, if you wish!

  2. Is this your first time taking a Canvas or Canvas Network course? Make sure to go through the Canvas User Orientation and then explore the course (Announcements, Modules, Discussions, and Grades found in the Course Menu).
  3. Next, review the Course Overview page. This page contains the course description, objectives and gives an overview of the day-to-day activities you'll need to complete within the Modules page.
  4. Complete the Welcome Survey.
