Welcome!
Hello everyone, welcome to NUR 916! I am looking forward to working with all of you this semester on a very important aspect of your role as a DNP-prepared advanced practice nurse: changing practice based on the synthesis of evidence to improve patient outcomes! In this course, we will work through the entire process of planning, implementing and evaluating programs.
The introduction to our course will be held on Thursday, August 30 at 9:00 in CON 511. We only have an hour of face-to-face time to begin to get to know each other, so please be on time and ready to begin right at 9:00. In preparation for this class, please review the Canvas course, read the syllabus, purchase the required text, and work on your first assignment, which is a video introduction of yourself to the group. Please let me know if you have any questions prior to that date. See you then!
