Module 3: Overview
Whether you realize it or not, you've probably used some form of assistive technology in your life. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, for example, or inserts in your sneakers so you don't get shin splints when you run, you're using assistive technology. If you've ever used crutches or a boot after an injury, that's assistive technology as well.
Objectives
In this Unit, you will learn to:
- Identify common barriers to electronic materials access
- Describe assistive technologies employed by users with disabilities
