Module 1 Introduction to Accessibility Overview

Objectives

In this module, you will learn to:

1. Describe and compare the concepts of accessibility, usability, and universal design
2. Employ accurate and appropriate terminology when discussing disabilities and accommodations
3. Summarize important US legislation regarding accessibility for users with disabilities. (Learners from outside the US will be encouraged to research the relevant regulations in their region.)
