There are several options available to UKY faculty that allows them to record their lectures

Option 1: Using MS PowerPoint

Since a lot of faculty are pretty familiar with using PowerPoint in their classes. This option allows for an easy way to record your contents right on your computer. To find out more, please watch the short video below

*Canvas limitations: Your course is limited to 2.1 Gb total storage space and 500Mb max per file upload.

Option 2: Using Yuja Media

The portal to access Yuja Media for University of Kentucky faculty and staff is  https://uky.yuja.com/ Links to an external site..  Use your university provided username and password to login into your account.

Once completed, you may publish your recording to Canvas by following the steps described on this page.

Optional features to disable downloads of recorded lectures

Zoom

Go to your Zoom account and look for the Recordings Tab. Select Cloud Recordings. Click on the share button and disable the download option as shown below

Yuja Media

In your Yuja media library, hover over the file you want to change and select more. Go to downloads and change the setting as shown below
