Follow the steps below to be Teach from Anywhere ready. Already completed these steps? Check out our Training Sessions to learn how to effectively teach online from anywhere.
Steps 1 and 2: Check internet speed and test camera, microphone, and speakers
If you are not sure about your internet speed, camera and microphone setup on your home computer, please follow the steps described in this video. You should test your equipment at home. A good connection will be at least 10 mb download and 5 mb upload. Contact your internet provider if you are not able to consistently meet these speeds.

Step 8: VPN Installation and Setup
VPN Installation and Setup
After your request for VPN access from Step 3 above has been approved, you may follow the steps described here to install and connect to the campus network
Step 9: Remotely Connect to Work Desktop Computer
Remotely Connect to Work Desktop Computer
Once VPN access is installed, you can use Remote Desktop to remote in to your work desktop computer and access everything as if you were at your desk at work.
Important Tip: Storage
When working from home, you will need access to files that are stored at work. If you have been saving your documents only on your local computer, please consider using one or more of the following options: Z drive, OneDrive or Google Drive
