 Geriatrics and Pain Module

Introduction: This concentration is adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner so there is some basic content about geriatrics this is essential. There will be geriatric content throughout your program but this is concentrated content to get you started. Additionally pain is a major symptom of acute care conditions. With the high prevelance of substance abuse being a comorbidity in the acute care population this content is also provided to get you started in understanding this population.
