12 Lead EKG

Regarding EKG EXAM: I currently have 33 questions but am wanting to expand it to 50 questions. Focus most on the content areas I include in my power point. For sure you need to be able to tell MI, location, acute or chronic, coronary vessel; BBB; axis; hypertrophy; electrolytes; depolarization and repolarization. On the 33 questions I have written I have 8 EKGs pictures; expect to add some more.  On some you may want to zoom in to see the blocks better. To do that on your computer hit command and the + sign. To reduce it is command and the - sign. You might want to practice that prior to taking the exam.

Introduction: 12-Lead EKG interpretation is an advanced skill that you must master to safely practice in the acute care environment. The Dubin text is one that multiple disciplines have used for years.  A different approach is the color code 12 lead EKG so it is included as well. Bottom line is given a 12 lead EKG you need to be able to accurately interpret it and understand etiology.
