The course paper is an admission history and physical, and admission initial orders for a 68 year old  nursing home resident  with new onset fever starting today and cough. You are to create the rest of the details but do not go beyond 3 primary problems.  This is to have a title page and page numbers but otherwise single spaced. The outline for the paper is NUR 940 Paper 2018.docx Download NUR 940 Paper 2018.docx

No references are required. The grade weighting is 50% for Admission note, 40% for Admission orders, 10% for reflection.   The final paper does count 14% of your course grade.

(Note: No email submissions will be accepted. Late assignments, without prior approval of the course faculty will be penalized 5% per day. Late assignments without prior approval will not be accepted after the 2nd day.)

I highly recommend that you refer to: Clinician's Pocket Reference: The Scut Money, 11e , Chapter 1. You can view it at Access Medicine.

For the Admission orders I recommend that you consider the Maxwell Quick Medical Reference, 6th Edition 2011 Admit/Transfer Orders whose file is attached. Maxwell Quick Medical Reference (1).pdf Download Maxwell Quick Medical Reference (1).pdf
