After reading the required articles, think about your organization either as a whole (macro system) or a sub system (meso or micro system) within the organization such as a nursing unit, group of faculty, clinic staff, or course you are teaching etc.    Reflect back on at least the last year.  Did you experience any surprises?  What happened that was predictable and what occurred that was not predictable?  Is your organization a CAS?
