Take something apart at your home and put it back together. Take pictures or video along the way of things that are interesting to you. Why does it work? What design principles were used in designing this product? Were you able to put it back together successfully? What can we learn from reverse engineering a product? What are the ethical concerns? How could you improve the product? Why is it valuable to encourage our students to take things apart and put them back together?
